Presentations for SE 3800, Hasker's section

In groups of 3 or 4 students, prepare a short presentation and associated discussion paper on a topic related to software process. The presentations will be over four days, so the average is 4 minutes per student in the group. Most teams should have three or four persons, but there are opportunities for larger teams below. Each team will deliver a lesson plan (notes from which they will present and/or electronic slides) and a 1 to 2-page document discussing the topic. Not all team members must present, but all must participate; the expectation is that one team member will write the document rather than present and that (when appropriate) other team members can develop associated classroom materials. If it suits your subject, you could do an in-class activity instead of a traditional lecture, but be mindful of the time limits.

Potential topics include the following:

At least one team member must review the presentation plans with the instructor at least two days before the presentation.
