• Setting up Java: Follow the directions at https://taylorial.com/tools/java/ This should set up Java 23 with JavaFX 23. You do not have to install Scene Builder. It's a good idea to delete version numbers from path names so you'd have a folder like "javafx-sdk-23" rather than "javafx-sdk-23.0.2".
