SWE 4211 Lab troubleshooting

  The oscilloscope is showing a sawtooth pattern such as shown to the right. This particular pattern is likely measuring the output of a nearby flourescent light; it's rising and falling at either 60 or 120 Hz and has a characteristic dip below the line that is smaller than the bit above. In any case, look for a lead that's not firmly attached to its GPIO pin.
