Sprint Progress - Status Reports

Within the Scrum framework, teams have a “daily standup” - a brief meeting where each team member reports the following:

1) what you've done since the last meeting

2) what problems you may be having that are holding up progress

3) what you plan on doing next

The team also consults their agile board and burndown to assess their overall status and progress.

Your team need to record your status and progress via a Confluence page based on the SE2800 Weekly Status Report template. Follow the blue instructions in the template.

In an academic setting, it is not practical to have daily meetings, since you don't make much progress from day to day; instead, weekly meetings - and thus reports - are more appropriate.

During daily standup meetings, the “Scrum Master” usually acts as adviser. In SE2800, your instructor, acting as Scrum Master, will review your weekly status report and make comments, and then follow-up with you during the following class session.

The SE2800 Weekly Status Report is to be completed and published to your team's wiki by the end of the hour.
