Limit state method, principle of limit state method of design, characteristic loads, characteristic strength, partial safety factors, stress strain characteristics for concrete and steel. 03 hrs
Introduction to stress block parameters for collapse, limit state of serviceability. 03 hrs
Limit state method of design of beams- Design of rectangular beams (singly and doubly reinforced), flanged beams, design for shear and torsion. 10 hrs
Limit State Design of one way and two way slabs for various boundary conditions, Design of Flat Slabs. 07 hrs
Limit State of Collapse in compression, Design of axially loaded short R.C. columns, uniaxial and Biaxial bending – using SP16 hand book. Design of footing – loads on foundation – Design basis (limit state method) 11 hrs
