Checking for Installation and Installing Software

For Windows 3.11 at MSOE (Draft)


Introduction

Under Windows 3.11 at MSOE, each user can have a different combination of software applications installed in their account. This software will be the same on every Windows 3.11 system on campus. CCSD provides the App Manager to install and uninstall Windows 3.11 applications. App Manager is the only approved way to add Windows 3.11 applications to or remove Windows 3.11 applications from your account at MSOE.

These instructions assume that you have already logged on are have Program Manager open on your screen.

Checking for Installation

Open the Express program group and double click on App Manager. Click on the Uninstall tab and scroll throught the list to which applications are installed in your account.

Installing Applications

Open the Express program group and double click on App Manager. Click on the Install table and either the Standard or Special tab. Choose the application or applications for installation and click on the Install button.
