Medical Device Personnel Training

The FDA requires that personnel involved in medical device design and manufacturing be adequately trained (Quality System regulation section 820.25(b)). My colleagues and I can help train your personnel through our Continuing Education Office. My areas of expertise include chemistry and biochemistry as they relate to medical products, general human physiology, renal physiology and renal dialysis processes, blood gas content and acid-base chemistry, natural and artificial regulation of plasma glucose concentration, pulmonary and ventilatory physiology, membrane oxygenator design and operation, blood pump design and operation and biomaterials (particularly polymeric biomaterials). My colleagues are skilled in a number of complementary areas. In some cases, college credit can be awarded for the training we provide. Training can be customized to meet your specific needs. Please contact me or our continuing education office for more information.
