LABORATORY KIT
- There is no laboratory kit that must be purchased for CE1900. Students
will use equipment checked out from the EECS Technical Support center
each week.
- Computer Engineering students will have the
opportunity to buy the laboratory kit used for CE1910 and later
classes beginning in week 4 of the quarter.
The kit costs $65 and will be charged to your student account.
Early purchase is not required. Purchase will not be available
before week 4.
- Software Engineering students will not be allowed to purchase
the CE1910 kit because these students do not take that course.
LABORATORY TIME LOGGING
You are required to track the time you spend each week
on the lab assignments and enter it on the laboratory exercise sheet.
Time logging allows you to monitor your performance,
adjust your study habits, and learn time management. Time
logging allows the instructors to monitor
how much time laboratories take to complete. This allows us
to improve the laboratory experience, assess student learning, and notice
students that might need our assistance.
